The global private alternatives industry is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11% to 13% between 2025 and 2030, moderating slightly from the past decade because of a high base (Source: RHP, citing CARE Report).
An alternatives manager works like the keeper of a long-term pooled fund. Investors commit capital for years, and the manager earns a steady fee plus a share of gains.
Reading the numbers needs care, because variable additional return and GP income move with fund timing. The CARE Report was also commissioned and paid for by the company.
The table below summarises the company's financial performance over the last three years, based on the Restated Consolidated Financial Information in the RHP.
| Financials (₹ crore) | FY2026 | FY2025 | FY2024 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assets | 2,170.28 | 2,085.07 | 1,769.66 |
| Total Income | 963.76 | 786.54 | 584.25 |
| PAT | 265.20 | 229.78 | 175.16 |
| EBITDA | NA | NA | NA |
| Net Worth | 1,075.54 | 966.45 | 729.48 |
The company does not report EBITDA, and its profit before tax rose from ₹212.69 crore in FY2024 to ₹338.64 crore in FY2026. Total Income rose from ₹584.25 crore to ₹963.76 crore over the same period.
Assets under management stood at ₹95,344.88 crore as of June 30, 2026, after more than 17 years of managing long-term capital. FPAUM rose from ₹30,398.01 crore in FY2024 to ₹44,710.44 crore in FY2026.
Real Assets and Private Credit give the company two distinct investment lines. Real Assets alone managed 10 active funds as of June 30, 2026, and energy transition launched in FY2026.
Management and advisory fees rose from ₹398.01 crore in FY2024 to ₹579.07 crore in FY2026. The RHP describes these fees as notably stable, since they largely stem from multi-year contractual agreements.
Variable additional return rose from ₹94.57 crore in FY2024 to ₹190.73 crore in FY2025 and ₹290.47 crore in FY2026. The three months ended June 30, 2026 added ₹108.95 crore.
PAT rose from ₹175.16 crore in FY2024 to ₹229.78 crore in FY2025 and ₹265.20 crore in FY2026. PAT margin stood at 27.52% in FY2026, and the June 2026 quarter added ₹80.71 crore.
Net Worth rose from ₹729.48 crore as of March 31, 2024 to ₹1,075.54 crore as of March 31, 2026, and stood at ₹1,160.38 crore as of June 30, 2026. Reserves and Surplus rose from ₹480.64 crore to ₹1,043.40 crore.
Total Borrowings eased from ₹507.49 crore as of March 31, 2025 to ₹441.03 crore as of March 31, 2026, and stood at ₹399.20 crore as of June 30, 2026. Cash and bank balances stood at ₹188.09 crore as of March 31, 2026.
Revenue and profit depend on management and advisory fees, GP income and variable additional return from the funds the company manages. Fees can fluctuate with fund performance, fee structure, competition and market conditions.
The timing and receipt of variable additional return are unpredictable, which adds volatility to results. GP income also fell from ₹102.14 crore in FY2025 to ₹79.95 crore in FY2026.
The RHP states that past growth rates do not necessarily indicate future growth. The company must manage its expansion well, and a failure to do so affects results.
The company has had periods of negative cash flow, mainly from using free cash to invest as general partner in its funds and from payouts to distributors for raising new funds. Prolonged negative cash flow affects its financial condition.
The RHP notes that valuation methods for certain assets involve a high degree of subjectivity. Fee income and returns linked to asset values depend on those valuations.
Clients can fail to honour capital calls, which affects the company's ability to invest. This risk applies across the funds it manages.
Before evaluating the EAAA India Alternatives IPO, investors may consider the following factors:
Dependence on management and advisory fees, GP income and variable additional return
Volatility in the timing of variable additional return
The fall in GP income in FY2026
Past negative cash flows
Subjectivity in valuing fund assets
Clients not honouring capital calls
Absence of directly comparable Indian listed peers
The 100% Offer for Sale, with no proceeds to the company
These factors should be considered alongside the complete risk disclosures and financial information provided in the RHP.
