Shyam Metalics reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue and a 20.6% rise in net profit for Q1 FY27. The company also declared a ₹1.80 interim dividend and approved a ₹4,500 crore fundraising plan, sending the share price to a fresh all-time high.
Shyam Metalics & Energy attracted attention on Monday after the company reported strong earnings for the June quarter. Investor sentiment improved after the company posted record quarterly revenue, healthy profit growth and announced both an interim dividend and a large fundraising plan.
The positive developments pushed the stock to a fresh all-time high during the trading session.
The company's consolidated net profit rose to ₹351 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹292 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. This marked a year-on-year growth of around 20.6%.
Revenue from operations increased 23.3% to ₹5,455 crore, compared with ₹4,423 crore in Q1 FY26. It was the highest quarterly revenue reported by the company so far.
The company said the growth was supported by steady domestic steel demand and higher volumes across key business segments, including pig iron and pellets. Its integrated manufacturing model also helped protect operating margins despite
fluctuations in raw material prices. During the quarter, captive sources met more than 80% of its power requirement.
Along with the quarterly results, the board approved the first interim dividend of ₹1.80 per equity share for FY27.
The board also cleared a proposal to raise up to ₹4,500 crore through the issue of equity shares or other eligible securities. The fundraising may include equity-linked instruments, convertible or non-convertible preference shares, as well as fully or partly convertible debentures.
Following the announcement, the share price opened at ₹1,030, up around 0.73% from the previous closing price of ₹1,022.50. Buying momentum strengthened as the session progressed. As a result, the stock made an all-time high of ₹1,090, reflecting a gain of around 6.60% over the previous close.
The latest rally has added to the stock's strong performance in the past. The shares have gained more than 26% so far in 2026. Over the past one year, the stock has delivered a return of more than 17%.
