    More Information

One item worth noting is a Land Licence Fee charge of ₹112.87 crore booked during the quarter. This relates to a Railways Master Circular issued in October 2022, which prescribes an annual fee at 6% of the market value of railway land, with a 7% annual escalation. The company has recognised this amount as an expense based on its own assessment, which it has described as provisional. The treatment of this charge and whether it becomes a recurring feature warrants attention in future quarters.

    Dividend Declared

The board declared an interim dividend of ₹1.60 per share, representing 32% on a face value of ₹5 for FY27. The total outflow amounts to about ₹122 crore. The record date for the dividend is August 4, 2026, with payment on or after August 12, 2026.
