Despite the increase in revenue, the company's net profit for the period declined by 11.6%, totaling ₹458.1 crore compared to ₹518 crore in the same quarter last year. This decrease can be attributed to higher total expenses, which rose by 6.5% to ₹3990.1 crore from ₹3748 crore in the previous year.

Automotive Products: Steady Growth

  • Revenue increased 6.6% YoY to ₹3,892.9 crore, up from ₹3,652.2 crore.

  • 9M FY25 revenue stood at ₹11,394.1 crore, reflecting a 5.1% growth from ₹10,846.2 crore.

  • Segment profit rose to ₹570.1 crore, a 10% YoY increase from ₹517.9 crore.

Consumer Goods: Decline in Revenue & Profit

  • Revenue dropped 7.5% QoQ to ₹361.7 crore from ₹429 crore, though up 8.4% YoY from ₹333.6 crore.

  • 9M FY25 revenue increased 7.8% YoY to ₹1,184.6 crore from ₹1,098.7 crore.

  • Profit declined sharply to ₹16.9 crore, down from ₹40.1 crore in Q2 FY25 and ₹38.9 crore in Q3 FY24.

Overall Performance

  • Total segment revenue increased 6.1% YoY to ₹4,486.6 crore from ₹4,228.6 crore.

  • Total segment profit stood at ₹623.7 crore, reflecting a 4.6% growth from ₹595.8 crore last year.

  • Profit before tax declined 7.9% YoY to ₹617.5 crore, impacted by higher unallocable corporate expenditure and a drop in consumer goods profitability.
