    Summary :

Vellora Impact reported Q1 FY27 revenue of ₹141.92 crore, compared with ₹1.17 crore in both Q4 FY26 and Q1 FY26, while net profit stood at ₹7.90 crore. Despite the turnaround in financial performance, the stock hit a 19.96% lower circuit on July 24, 2026.

    Vellora

On July 24, 2026, Vellora Impact, formerly known as Pratiksha Chemicals, fell 19.96% and hit the lower circuit. Trading volume stood at 14.30 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average of 2.27 lakh shares, marking a more than sixfold surge in trading activity. The sharp spike in trading volume coincided with a steep decline in the stock price on the same day the company announced its Q1 FY27 financial results.

    Revenue Turnaround in Agriculture Segment

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Vellora Impact reported revenue from operations of ₹141.92 crore, a figure that stands in stark contrast to the ₹1.17 crore recorded in the immediately preceding quarter ended March 31, 2026, and the ₹1.17 crore reported in Q1 FY26. The sharp jump is attributable entirely to the agriculture segment, which contributed ₹141.92 crore in segment revenue during the quarter. The Chemical segment, which had been the company's primary revenue driver in previous periods, reported no revenue in Q1 FY27.

The Agriculture segment also delivered a segment EBITDA of ₹7.98 crore during the quarter, while the Chemical segment reported nil operating results for the period. Total segment assets in Agriculture stood at ₹74.51 crore, while Chemical segment assets were ₹4.04 crore.

    Profit Returns After Losses

The company reported a net profit of ₹7.90 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with a loss of ₹2.11 crore a year ago and a profit of ₹0.59 crore in the previous quarter.

Total expenses stood at ₹134.02 crore during the quarter, largely comprising purchase of stock-in-trade.

    Segment Shift Worth Noting

The complete absence of revenue generation from chemicals in Q1 FY27 as compared to ₹8.34 crore in terms of chemical segment assets in Q1 FY26 highlights that the business mix is likely to undergo a significant change in operation. The key highlight of the period is that there was no revenue generated by the chemical segment, with the whole revenue generation being done by the agriculture segment.
