    SBI Funds Management came into the limelight after it made a decent debut on the stock exchanges on Tuesday, July 21. 

    Stock Lists at Nearly 7% Premium

    The shares listed at ₹613.30 on the NSE, representing a 6.85% premium over its IPO price of ₹574 per share. Buying interest remained strong after the opening bell. The stock later touched an intraday high of ₹624.95. This represents a gain of 8.88% over the IPO price and around 1.90% from the listing price.

    Becomes India's Second-Largest Asset Manager by Market Value

    Following the listing, it became India's second-largest listed asset management company by market capitalisation, with a valuation of around ₹1,26,140.73 crore. SBI Funds Management is already the country's largest asset manager in terms of assets under management. As of March 31, 2026, it managed assets worth ₹12,50,000 crore, giving it a strong presence across equity, debt and hybrid investment products.
