Nestle India Hits All-Time High After Q1 Beat Market Estimates

    Nestle Starts FY27 On Strong Note: Know Details

    Nestle India shares rose to their all-time high on Wednesday after the FMCG major reported a strong set of numbers, beating market estimates on all fronts. This strong performance was driven by strong double-digit growth across all four product groups of the company.

    Volumes Jump 2.5x

    Volumes also supported the growth. Volumes rose to 48.4 lakh as compared to its 30-day average of 19.3 lakh.

    Revenue, EBITDA, and PAT Beat Market Expectations

    The company posted revenue from operations of ₹6,363.3 crore, up 25.4% compared with the same quarter last year. This is well above the market expectations of ₹6,065 crore. Higher volumes and continued consumer trust in its brands largely drove the growth.

    Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter grew by 40% year-on-year to ₹1,538 crore, also exceeding the market expectation of ₹1,375 crore. EBITDA margin remained healthy at 24.2%.

    The net profit for the quarter rose by 45%, jumping to ₹975.1 crore, compared to ₹659.2 crore in the previous cycle. Investors had estimated a figure of ₹857 crore.

    Exports Grew 35%

    Exports also remained strong during the quarter. Export sales grew 35.6%, even as geopolitical uncertainties continued in several overseas markets.

    All 4 Product Groups Delivered Double-Digit Growth

    The confectionery business posted strong volume-led double-digit growth. KitKat continued to gain market share during the quarter.

    The powdered and liquid beverages segment recorded its 20th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth.

    Prepared dishes and cooking aids also delivered strong double-digit growth.

    Meanwhile, the milk products and nutrition business reported broad-based growth across key brands and distribution channels, backed by higher volumes.

    Nestle India Share Price Performance

    Following the announcement, the share price opened in the green territory on Wednesday. It opened higher at ₹1,460.30, compared with its previous close of ₹1,451.90. Buying interest picked up in the session, and the stock made an intraday high of ₹1,510. This translates to a gain of 4.0% from the previous close. At this level, the stock made its all-time high.

    The stock has also delivered healthy returns over a longer period. It has gained more than 14% so far in 2026 and is up over 20% during the last year.
