These stocks, each with a market capitalisation above ₹15,000 crore, have delivered returns of 24% or higher year-to-date, reflecting selective buying amid broader market outflows.

    Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have remained net sellers in the Indian stock market for another year. The selling trend has persisted into 2026, following weak inflows since 2021. In fact, 2020 was the last calendar year when FIIs were net buyers of Indian equities.

    Selling pressure peaked in March 2026, when FIIs pulled out ₹1.22 lakh crore from the cash market. Since then, the pace of selling has gradually moderated, with net outflows standing at ₹70,135 crore in April, ₹55,963 crore in May, ₹49,029 crore in June and ₹12,662 crore in July.

    Despite the broader selling trend, overseas investors continued to selectively increase their exposure to a few companies.

    The analysis below shortlists companies with a market capitalisation exceeding ₹15,000 crore where FII ownership increased between March 31, 2026, and June 30, 2026. All seven stocks have delivered returns of approximately 25% or more so far in 2026.

    1. Billionbrains Garage Ventures Ltd

    Billionbrains Garage Ventures (BGV) is the holding company of the Groww Group, one of India's leading digital financial services platforms. Incorporated in 2016, the company was founded by Lalit Keshre, Harsh Jain, Neeraj Singh and Ishan Bansal. Through its flagship brand, Groww, BGV offers a web and app-based investment platform that enables retail investors to invest in mutual funds, equities, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), initial public offerings (IPOs) and several other financial products.

    Foreign investor interest strengthened during the June quarter. FII ownership increased from 2.51% as of March 31, 2026 to 6.89% as of June 30, 2026.

    The stock has also remained in focus this year, gaining more than 25% on a year-to-date basis.

    2. Lenskart Solutions Ltd

    Incorporated in 2008 in New Delhi, Lenskart manufactures and retails branded and private label eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and accessories. Peyush Bansal, Neha Bansal, Amit Chaudhary, and Sumeet Kapahi founded the company. It started operations as an online business in India in 2010 and opened its first retail store in New Delhi in 2013.

    The FII stake increased from 4.26% in March 2026 to 12.76% in June 2026.

    The company's share price has gained over 25% so far in 2026.

    3. Anthem Biosciences Ltd

    Incorporated in Bengaluru in 2006, Anthem Biosciences is jointly promoted by Ajay Bhardwaj, Dr Ganesh Sambasivam, K.C. Ravindra and Ishaan Bhardwaj. It is a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) that offers early-stage drug discovery services. It operates three manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru.

    Foreign investors increased their stake from 1.28% as of March 31, 2026 to 2.57% by June 30, 2026.

    The stock has delivered gains of more than 24% so far this year.

    4. Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd

    Mr Satish Mehta incorporated Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd in 1981, and the company commenced operations in Pune, Maharashtra, in 1983. The company manufactures a wide range of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products across multiple dosage forms. Its portfolio includes oral solids, oral liquids, injectables and complex active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

    FII stake increased from 3.35% in March 2026 to 4.87% in June 2026.

    The company's share price is up around 35% on a YTD basis.

    5. Cupid Ltd

    Cupid is a diversified healthcare and consumer products company with a strong global B2B export presence and a rapidly expanding FMCG business. The company is one of the leading suppliers of male and female condoms, personal lubricants, and IVD kits, exporting to over 125 countries. Additionally, the company is scaling a branded FMCG platform across personal care and wellness categories.

    Foreign investor holding rose from 1.01% in March 2026 to 4.17% by June 2026.

    The stock also rose over 120% so far in 2026.

    6. Thangamayil Jewellery Ltd

    Thangamayil Jewellery is a jewellery retailer based in Tamil Nadu. The company was initially established as a proprietorship firm by Late Baluswamy Chettiar in 1947. The company went public in January 2010. It is involved in the retailing of gold, silver, diamond, platinum and various studded jewellery products.

    FII ownership increased from 4.37% in March 2026 to 5.54% in June 2026.

    The stock has rallied around 110% so far this year.

    7. Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd

    Diamond Power Infrastructure is an integrated manufacturer of power transmission products. Its portfolio includes LV, MV, HV and EHV power cables, control and instrumentation cables, fire-resistant and flame-retardant cables, solar DC cables, EV charging cables and conductors. The company supplies products to sectors such as power, infrastructure, oil and gas, renewable energy, real estate and data centres.

    Foreign investors raised their stake from 0.36% as of March 31, 2026 to 1.77% by June 30, 2026.

    The company's share price has gained 130.59% so far in 2026.
