A-1 Ltd hit the upper circuit, gaining 4.96% on July 28, 2026, after reporting strong Q1 FY27 results. Revenue surged 170% YoY to ₹175 crore, while net profit increased more than fivefold to ₹3.16 crore, driven by robust growth in its acids and chemicals business.
A-1 Limited's share price was trading at ₹5.71 on July 28, 2026, marking an increase of 4.96%, with prices hitting the upper circuit for the day. The volume of the stock stood at 49.70 lakh shares, which was close to its 30-day average daily volume of 50.30 lakh shares. The company's strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, drove the rally.
Consolidated revenue from operations reached ₹175 crore in Q1 FY27, nearly tripling from ₹64.69 crore a year earlier—a YoY rise of 170%. The acids and chemicals business accounted for the majority of this growth, with segment sales rising 165% YoY to ₹171.95 crore.
Additionally, the sports equipment segment, which did not contribute to revenue in the year-ago period, added ₹3.18 crore during the quarter, reflecting the company's expansion into a new business vertical.
On a sequential basis, total revenue grew approximately 20% from ₹145.27 crore in Q4 FY26, indicating that top-line momentum has continued to build.
Strong top-line execution fed directly through to the bottom line. Profit before tax (PBT) rose to ₹4.30 crore from ₹0.84 crore in Q1 FY26, representing a gain of 412% YoY. After a tax outgo of ₹1.14 crore, net profit stood at ₹3.16 crore compared to ₹0.60 crore in the year-ago quarter—a more than fivefold increase. On a sequential basis, net profit decreased by roughly 27% from ₹4.36 crore in Q4 FY26, though that quarter had set an elevated base.
Originally incorporated as A-1 Acid Limited, the company rebranded to reflect its expanding operational scope. Its core operations remain centred on the manufacture and trading of industrial acids and chemicals. The recently added sports equipment segment provides the company with an additional revenue stream alongside its primary chemical distribution business.
