The Solar Project at Chitrakoot-1 is an example of the new large Scale Utility works being developed in Uttar Pradesh using renewable energy resources. This continues to be a major part of India's future Energy Capacity Development plans, with Government Owned Corporations awarding EPC Contracts to Government Agencies for Grid Fed Systems.
Typically, the Balance of System Package refers to everything else associated with infrastructure and electrical works with the exception of solar panels and inverters. Projects should be executed during a specific 12-month time Frame, thereby requiring an emphasis on project coordination, management of logistics and meeting construction timeframes. In larger solar parks, these types of contracts commonly ensure that timelines will not disrupt connectivity to the grid.
