According to a press release uploaded on NSE, Suzlon Energy Limited has announced a major order of 838 megawatts (MW) from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL). This is Suzlon’s biggest order in FY26 and the second-largest in its history, after the 1,544 MW order from NTPC Green Energy.
The project will use Suzlon’s Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) solutions. It is also the third repeat order that TPREL has placed with Suzlon. The deal highlights a long-term partnership between the two companies.

The 838 MW project will be spread across three Indian states — Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. It will include 266 of Suzlon’s S144 wind turbines. Each turbine has a capacity of 3.15 MW and is part of Suzlon’s “Made in India” 3.x MW series.
Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon Group, said the order shows a shared vision to grow clean power in India. JP Chalasani, CEO of Suzlon Group, added that TPREL’s high standards push the industry forward and confirm Suzlon as a trusted partner.

With this win, Suzlon has reinforced its leadership in India’s renewable energy sector. The company has more than 21 GW of wind energy capacity installed worldwide, with 15.2 GW in India.
