    About Steamhouse India Limited

    Company Background

The company was originally incorporated as Ankleshwar Eco Energy Limited on 10 June 2015, with a fresh certificate of incorporation issued under its current name on 28 September 2021. It is registered in Surat, Gujarat, and promoted by Vishal Sanwarprasad Budhia, Ritu Budhia, V SB Business Trust, Budhia Business Trust and VB Business Trust.

According to the F&S Report cited in the prospectus, the company and its promoters pioneered the community boiler model in India, first introduced in 2014. Promoter Vishal Sanwarprasad Budhia brings eleven years of specialised experience in the community boiler industry.

    Business Overview

Steamhouse operates seven community steam boilers in Gujarat, spanning Vapi, Ankleshwar, Sarigam, Nandesari and Panoli, with a combined installed capacity of 345 TPH as at 31 July 2026. It also purchases and distributes steam from other generators in Dahej GIDC and Sachin GIDC, and signed five-year steam supply agreements covering Dahej SEZ and Haldia in April 2026. On the nitrogen side, the company separates and compresses nitrogen from atmospheric air for industrial supply, and it engages in coal trading as well.

Clients include Aether Industries, Anupam Rasayan India, Globe Enviro Care, Gujarat Polysol Chemicals and several other Gujarat-based manufacturers. Headcount stood at 229 employees plus 276 contract labourers as at 31 July 2026.

    Revenue Model

Repeat orders made up 90.72% of revenue from operations in FY2026, and four of the company's top 10 customers have relationships spanning more than five years. Textiles was a substantial customer segment, contributing 22.18% of revenue in FY2026, followed by agrochemicals at 10.32%.

Total income rose from ₹293.16 crore in FY2024 to ₹494.97 crore in FY2026.

    Industry Overview

India's total process steam demand stood at approximately 203,472 TPH in FY2026 and is projected to reach 318,853 TPH by FY2031, a compound annual growth rate of 9.4%, according to the F&S Report cited in the prospectus. Cylinder-based supply still accounts for 41.5% of India's industrial gas demand (excluding steam) by value, though pipeline-based distribution is emerging as the preferred alternative as the industrial sector expands.

    Strengths of Steamhouse India Limited

    Position in Community Gas Distribution

The company offers industrial customers a centralised alternative to running individual boiler infrastructure, in a segment that the F&S Report cited in the prospectus expects to grow steadily through FY2031.

    High Barriers to Entry

As the pioneer of the community boiler model in India, the company holds exclusive pipeline access within established industrial clusters, which limits space for new entrants to build competing networks.

    Strategically Located Facilities

Seven community steam boilers across Vapi, Ankleshwar, Sarigam, Nandesari and Panoli give the company a combined installed steam capacity of 345 TPH, positioned close to customer clusters and ports in Gujarat.

    Long-Term Customer Relationships

Repeat orders drive most of the business, and several of the top 10 customers by revenue have stayed with the company for more than five years.

    Track Record in Eco-Friendly Solutions

Community boilers centralise operations and cut emissions compared to individual captive boilers, and the company has also added a waste-to-energy facility and a solar power project at its Ankleshwar plant.

    Experienced Promoter and Management Team

Promoter Vishal Sanwarprasad Budhia has eleven years of specialised experience in the community boiler industry, backed by a management team with expertise across finance, operations and strategy.

Risks Associated with Steamhouse India Limited

    Customer Concentration

The top 10 customers contributed 47.87% of revenue from operations in FY2026. Losing any of these customers, or a drop in repeat orders, could affect results.

    Single Customer for Nitrogen Business

The nitrogen segment currently serves only one customer. Any disruption to this relationship or to nitrogen distribution could affect that part of the business.

    Supplier Concentration

The top 10 suppliers accounted for 81.71% of overall purchases in FY2026, up from 75.35% in FY2025. Price increases or supply disruptions from these suppliers could affect operations.

    Related Party Transactions

Transactions with Group Companies made up 99.27% of the company's related party transactions in the periods reviewed. Such transactions may not always reflect arm's length terms.

    Geographic Concentration in Gujarat

All of the company's steam and nitrogen facilities are located in Gujarat. Adverse regional developments, including raw material sourcing disruptions, could affect the business.

    Outstanding Legal Proceedings

Legal and tax proceedings against the company totalled approximately ₹6.29 crore as at the date of the Red Herring Prospectus, with separate proceedings involving a director and the promoters. An adverse outcome could affect operations.
