1. Beauty
Revenue: ₹1,975.37 crore, up 23.9% YoY from ₹1,593.51 crore in Q1 FY24.
Segment Profit: ₹96.28 crore, compared to ₹72.99 crore last year, reflecting improved operating leverage and brand mix.
Continued strength in premium beauty, higher average order values, and growth in exclusive brand partnerships contributed to the segment’s performance.
2. Fashion
Revenue: ₹170.83 crore, up 14.9% YoY from ₹148.60 crore.
Segment Loss: ₹27.01 crore, improving from a ₹30.29 crore loss in Q1 FY24.
Loss narrowing was supported by better inventory management, higher full-price sales, and platform optimization efforts.
3. Others
Revenue: ₹8.74 crore, more than double the ₹4.00 crore recorded last year.
Segment Loss: ₹8.67 crore, compared to a ₹7.22 crore loss in Q1 FY24, driven by higher investment in emerging business verticals and technology integration.
Nykaa’s revenue growth outpaced sector averages in beauty and lifestyle e-commerce. The fashion segment’s narrowing losses and higher growth trajectory signal operational improvements, while beauty continues to deliver robust margins.
Nykaa’s management highlighted the strong demand in premium beauty, expanding partnerships with global brands, and improving operational efficiency in fashion. The company remains committed to omni-channel expansion, tech integration, and enhancing customer experience.
