Synopsis:

Flights Suspended Across Key Regions

The Ministry of Civil Aviation confirmed that 24 airports, including major and regional hubs, remain shut for civilian operations. This development comes in the wake of Operation Sindoor, a military offensive launched by Indian forces on 7 May, targeting sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation was in response to the 26 fatalities from the April terror attack in Pahalgam.

Both Air India and IndiGo issued advisories, notifying passengers of widespread cancellations. Passengers impacted by the suspended routes will be eligible for a one-time rescheduling waiver or full refund.
