Markets Daily: Nifty Crosses 25K Amid Global Optimism and Sectoral Moves

The Indian equity benchmarks extended their upward momentum for the seventh consecutive session on Thursday, September 11. The Nifty Fifty crossed the psychological 25,000 mark, while the Sensex advanced over 100 points, supported by favorable global cues and renewed optimism in trade.

Market sentiment was largely driven by expectations of a dovish stance by the US Federal Reserve, with investors factoring in the possibility of a rate cut at next week’s policy meeting. Optimism around the potential revival of India–US trade negotiations further boosted investor confidence.
