Global markets showed mixed trends last week. Wall Street extended gains, supported by easing US-China trade tensions and a strong performance in healthcare. The S&P 500 rose for a fifth straight session, while the Nasdaq led with a weekly gain of 7.2%. On the flip side, Asia-Pacific markets opened lower this week following Moody’s downgrade of the U.S. credit rating from Aaa to Aa1, raising concerns about economic growth and rising debt.

Nifty formed a narrow bearish candlestick on the daily chart, suggesting ongoing consolidation near the 25,000 mark following last week’s breakout.
Short-term View:
Upside Target: 25,200–25,300
Support Zone: 24,800
Major Support: 24,400–24,600 breakout zone
Despite Friday’s pause, the overall trend remains constructive, with potential for further gains as Q4FY25 earnings unfold. Stock-specific action is likely to dominate.

Resistance: 25,120 & 25,260
Support: 24,940 & 24,800
Bank Nifty:
Resistance: 55,670 & 56,000
Support: 55,170 & 54,800
Gift Nifty suggests a flat opening today, with expected range-bound movement between 24,800–25,250.
