Global markets rebounded on Monday as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East eased. Investors shifted focus to the upcoming Federal Reserve policy meeting.
US Markets:
The Nasdaq surged 1.5%, leading gains, while the S&P 500 rose 0.9% and the Dow Jones gained 0.8%.
Sectors such as communication services and technology outperformed, while utilities lagged. The rebound came after last week’s sell-off, triggered by escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.
Asian Markets:
Asian equities traded mixed in response to the strong Wall Street rally.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 edged up 0.4% to 38,482.43, and the Topix rose 0.1%, buoyed by optimism ahead of the Bank of Japan’s upcoming decision, with markets anticipating a measured pace of bond purchase reductions.

Indian indices mirrored the global uptrend, with broad-based buying across sectors:
Nifty 50 closed at 24,946.50, up 227.90 points (0.92%)
Sensex ended at 81,796.15, gaining 677.55 points (0.84%)
Key Highlights:
All sectoral indices ended in the green.
Outperformance noted in IT, Metals, Realty, and Oil & Gas, each gaining around 1%.
BSE Midcap Index rose 0.9%, while Small-cap Index gained 0.4%.
India VIX declined to 14.8, indicating reduced market anxiety.

Gift Nifty indicates a flat to slightly positive opening, with the index expected to move within the 24,700–25,150 range.
Nifty Technical Outlook
Nifty rebounded from two consecutive losing sessions, forming a bullish candlestick with higher highs and higher lows.
The index continues to consolidate between 24,400–25,200.
Key Resistance: 25,000; a breakout could push the index to 25,200.
Key Support: 24,400–24,500, coinciding with the 50-day EMA.
Bank Nifty Outlook
Bank Nifty is hovering near 56,000.
Straddle positions suggest a potential directional breakout.
Resistance Levels: 56,230 & 56,500
Support Levels: 55,670 & 55,380
Intraday Levels
Nifty
Resistance: 25,000 & 25,120
Support: 24,820 & 24,700
