Synopsis:

Nestle India's board is scheduled to meet on June 26, 2025, to evaluate a proposal for issuing bonus shares. This move comes amid index rebalancing and input cost pressures. Nestle share price has shown modest gains in 2025 despite a broader underperformance over the past year.

Nestle India Will Announce Bonus Share Issue at June 26 Board Meeting

Nestle India has informed exchanges that its board of directors will convene on June 26, 2025, to consider a proposal for the issuance of bonus shares. In parallel, Nestle India is set to be removed from the BSE Sensex on June 23 as part of the semi-annual index rebalancing. It will be replaced by Trent and Bharat Electronics.

For Q4 FY25, the company reported a 5.2% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit to ₹885 crore, while revenue rose 4.5% to ₹5,504 crore. Input costs, particularly for cocoa and milk, remain a key watchpoint for the near term.
