KPR Mills is set for a major equity transaction as three of its promoters will offload 3.2 percent stake via block deals, aiming to raise nearly Rs 1,200 crore. The floor price for the transaction has been set at Rs 1,107 per share, representing a 10 percent discount compared to the current KPR Mills share price of Rs 1,226 as of 20 May. The proposed sale includes 1.08 crore equity shares.

Promoters Involved And Current Shareholding

The promoters participating in the sale include Chairman KP Ramasamy and Managing Directors KPD Sigamani and P Nataraj. Each held a 20.34 percent stake in the company as of March 2025. Together, the three own just over 61 percent of KPR Mills, and the proposed sale will lower their cumulative shareholding to 57.82 percent.

As per the latest shareholding pattern, the total promoter and promoter group stake stands at 70.68 percent, while public shareholders hold 29.32 percent.

Financial Snapshot And Recent Performance

Earlier this month, KPR Mills posted a 4 percent year-on-year drop in its Q4 FY25 net profit to Rs 204.55 crore, down from Rs 213.61 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations also declined by approximately 4 percent to Rs 1,769 crore. The company declared a final dividend of Rs 2.5 per equity share for FY25.
