ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company posted a slight 1.9% year-on-year decline in net profit for the March quarter at ₹509.6 crore. In contrast, its full-year FY25 performance reflected strong growth, with profit after tax rising by 30.7% to ₹2,508 crore from ₹1,919 crore in FY24. The board also announced a final dividend of ₹7 per share, taking the total dividend payout for the year to ₹12.5 per share.

Gross premium income for Q4 grew 10.2% year-on-year to ₹6,903.9 crore. However, operating profit declined by 25.9% to ₹415.9 crore, reflecting underwriting pressures. The underwriting loss reduced slightly to ₹209.7 crore from ₹235.6 crore a year earlier.
For FY25, ICICI Lombard’s Gross Direct Premium Income rose 8.3% to ₹26,833 crore, ahead of the general insurance industry’s 6.2% growth. When adjusted for new IRDAI norms, its GDPI growth stood at 11%, surpassing the industry average of 8.6%.
