Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited released its unaudited consolidated results for the quarter ended 30 September 2025. The company reported higher revenue and a return to profitability after a loss in the preceding quarter, driven mainly by its Power and Industry business segments.
Consolidated Total Income: ₹7,686 crore, up 36% QoQ and 15% YoY.
Other Income: ₹175 crore, flat QoQ and up 54% YoY.
Total Expenses: ₹7,202 crore, up 15% QoQ and 10% YoY.
Profit Before Tax: ₹499 crore against ₹(608) crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹141 crore in Q2 FY25.
Net Profit: ₹375 crore versus a loss of ₹455 crore in Q1 FY26 and profit of ₹106 crore in Q2 FY25.
Earnings Per Share (Basic & Diluted): ₹1.08 compared with ₹(1.31) in Q1 FY26 and ₹0.30 in Q2 FY25.
The Board of Directors of BHEL approved the unaudited consolidated financial results for Q2 FY26 at its meeting held on 29 October 2025, following a review by the Audit Committee.

The Power segment accounted for about 75% of total revenue and remained the primary driver of profitability. Industrial Systems contributed the remaining share, supported by project executions and after-sales service income.
The results were announced on 29 October 2025. BHEL’s shares closed at around ₹246.13, up by 3.70% at 3:30 p.m. IST on the same day.
