Ashok Leyland’s Q1 FY25-26 performance reflected healthy contributions from both its core commercial vehicle operations and financial services arm:

  • Commercial Vehicle (CV): Revenue came in at ₹9,853.62 crore, a 5.93% YoY increase from ₹9,301.73 crore. Segment profit before interest and tax (PBIT) rose to ₹707.82 crore from ₹648.74 crore, supported by steady demand in medium and heavy commercial vehicles and operational efficiencies.

  • Financial Services: Revenue surged to ₹1,855.19 crore, marking a 32.99% YoY rise from ₹1,395.28 crore. PBIT improved to ₹178.22 crore from ₹149.96 crore, driven by higher loan disbursements and stable asset quality.

  • Overall Segment Profit: Combined segment PBIT reached ₹886.04 crore, up from ₹798.70 crore in the prior year, underscoring balanced growth across business divisions.
