Technical Analysis of Adani Ports

Price action has repaired structure after a brief corrective phase. The daily chart shows a breakout from a short falling channel, formed after the prior up-leg. The base aligns with the 200-day EMA and a former breakout zone—useful confluence for risk control.

Support is centred around ₹1,290–₹1,270. Resistance to monitor sits near ₹1,438, which corresponds to an ~80% retracement of the July–August downswing. Momentum has shifted to constructive on standard daily oscillators, indicating a bias to the upside.

Technical Analysis:

Breakout and Base Formation:

After six sessions of falling, the market turned around and broke out to the upside. The base formed near the long-term average and the area of previous demand. This combination typically increases the likelihood that something will happen.

Retracement Framework:

The first goal is ₹1,438, which is based on the last corrective leg's 80% decline and gives us a clear target.

Confirmation of momentum:

After a signal-line crossover, daily momentum has become positive, which supports continuation rather than mean reversion.

Risk Box

A closing stop at ₹1,269 has a negative if the breakout doesn't happen. The entry band allows you to stagger your fills and minimises slippage.

Why You Should Buy Adani Ports Stocks

  • Structure-led edge: A breakout over a short-term falling channel with a higher base behind it.

  • Clear confluence: Support at the 200-day EMA and prior breakout zone improves location.

  • Defined Risk-to-Reward: ~2:1 reward-to-risk at the midpoint of the entry band.

Conclusion

A positional trade deserves clarity more than conviction. The levels above define the thesis, the exit, and the review points. If price respects structure, stay with it. If it doesn’t, exit and preserve capital for the next setup.
