According to a press release uploaded on NSE, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025.
During Q2 FY2025-26, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited reported a total income of ₹1,10,919 crore, compared to ₹1,08,774 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s profit before tax stood at ₹5,131 crore, and net profit after tax rose sharply to ₹3,859 crore, against ₹143 crore in Q2 FY2024-25. HPCL’s Board also declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per equity share for FY2025-26. The record date is November 6, 2025, and payment will be made on or before November 27, 2025.

Operationally, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited achieved an average Gross Refining Margin (GRM) of USD 5.95 per barrel between April and September 2025, compared to USD 4.03 per barrel in the same period last year. The company recorded a crude throughput of 13.23 million metric tons (MMT) and domestic sales of 23.42 MMT for the first half of the year.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) approved a compensation of ₹7,920 crore to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited for under-recoveries on domestic LPG sales up to March 2025 and expected up to March 2026. This amount will be disbursed in 12 equal monthly installments starting in November 2025 and will be recognized as receivable when due.
