Sector Expectations for NCC Q1 Results FY25-26

The infra and construction sector was expected to see delayed order inflows and moderate execution in Q1 FY26 due to early monsoons. NCC’s numbers largely align with this, with a slight revenue dip. However, execution efficiency and controlled costs ensured that operating profits held firm. The fall in net profit was largely attributed to increased finance costs.

Compared to peers, NCC’s Q1 PAT margin of ~4% remains competitive.

Management Commentary

While an official statement wasn’t included in the document, NCC’s performance reflects the management’s continued focus on strong execution, cash flow efficiency, and asset-light expansion in core construction projects.

Given the ₹20,943 crore worth of segment assets and growing associate contributions, NCC is strategically positioned to benefit from the expected infra capex push in H2 FY26.
